Here's some info on Washington. He's a 6-7 power forward type who was just named a first-team Junior College All-American.

Brilliant indeed. Washington rewrote the school’s record books this season. His 26 rebounds against Murray State broke the previous single-game mark of 21 by Simeon Haley in 1993.
His average of 12.9 rebounds was better than the 12.8 by Elmore Spencer in 1989-90 and the 413 rebounds moves to the top of the all-time single-season list, replacing Sam Haley’s 384 in 1992-93.
Also averaging 19.2 points per game, Washington also becomes the seventh player in Connors history to score 1,000 points and finished with 1,057 in his two years in the program. Washington calls his sophomore season a breakout year.
“It was the best year of my life,” the Stringtown native said. “After I broke my nose (in the season opener against Arkansas Baptist), that made me want to come out and play harder. “I was the leader of the team. If something had to be done, I felt like I was the one who had to do it. If we lost, I felt like it was my fault and that I could’ve done something different. I don’t remember the wins that much.”
Muse will remember the player who becomes his fourth first-team All-American in his 18-year coaching career at the school.
Washington joins Cyrus Jones (1994), Horatio Webster (1996) and Detrick White (1997) in that group. He’s the 16th All-American in school history.
“C.J.’s ability to score a basket is what stands out,” Muse said. “That was the strength of his game.”
Washington led the Cowboys to a 58-13 record and two Region II championships in his two seasons. He had 25 double-doubles in the 2009-10 campaign. But now it’s time to take his basketball skills to the next level.
Colleges including Oral Roberts, Ball State, Western Kentucky, Wright State, Wichita State and Murray State have shown interest. “I visited Oral Roberts and I liked it,” Washington said. “I’m not sure about going there. I’m going to visit Murray State on April 8.
“I have to give credit for everything I’ve done to my team. They let me play hard and if it wasn’t for them and the coaches, I wouldn’t be where I am.”
Washington isn’t the only local college player to receive All-America recognition. Bacone’s Ronnie Battle, a 6-4 senior forward, was a second-teamer on the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics squad after averaging 24.5 points and 8.1 rebounds per game.
Bacone, like Connors, made their respective national tournament, the first time for Bacone.

Originally committed to Weber State out of High School.
Has family ties to Midwest city, including has lived there himself.
Is reportedly down to OU and New Mexico.
Took an official visit to Norman on April 9 2010. Will visit New Mexico this upcoming weekend and decide after that visit.
