WVU in a dog fight at home against TCU. Down 2 with 1:19 left.

Score tied at 70. TCU with the ball with 35 seconds left in the game.

Wow! TCU up 2 with 6 seconds left. Can the Frogs get the upset?

Nothing says I love my cousin like a wvu crowd. Can't stand them. They foul more than any team out there and get away with it. F bob thuggins.

What a way to lose. I'd like to see another replay on when the clock started though.

Just saw it at full speed and could not tell if the guy brushed it first or whether the clock started there but don't think it would matter because it was probably no more than .5 seconds difference. Great play by WV to get the long pass with such little time left.

I'm really starting to dislike WV. I can't stand their style of play (thug ball), their fanbase, and especially Huggins.

But it looks like they used up a season's worth of "good fortune" in this game in order to win it. If we get the opportunity, I want to run that team out of the gym when they come to Norman.

By rule, the clock doesn't start until the ball is touched inbounds. The pass gave Carter the perfect lead to make a lay up. Most officials would not have called a foul in that situation, but in Paul Jansen's defense, I think the TCU defender got him across the head in attempting to block the shot.

WVU was fortunate to win that game. TCU missed enough free throws to win by double digits, 16 to be exact. You've got to shoot the ball well from the line to win in the Big 12, especially on the road. Tough loss for the Froggies!

I agree it was a foul and should have been called.

The point I was making on time was that it looked like the WV guy first tipped the ball on the catch and then gained it on the dribble. I was not sure if he actually did tip it and whether the clock started there. I did not see it in slow motion but as I said in another post I don't think it would have mattered because I suspect there was not more than 0.5s difference.

One of the best games you will ever see. The 10 team Big XII format is awesome. Only 5 games each week and all nationally televised. The league made a big mistake not claiming Baylor as the 1 true champ in football trying to pander TCU's way into the playoff. You really do have 1 tru champ that was won on the field of play. In basketball it's possible to have a legit regular season tie if two teams end with the same record and split.
