I know it's tough to win on the road but come on thats head shaking. Thoughts?

2-5 on the road this year against a really tough road schedule. I’d probably say 3-5 because the Wichita game wasn’t neutral.

The team started the season with road wins against Oregon, USC, and Wichita St. It's disappointing that they now can't beat anyone on the road.

USC and TCU are our only “official” road wins

Per usual when you have to learn how to defend a total surprise like Trae was it takes time. But once one coach gets a handle on how to be successful it becomes very repeatable. Especially when the officials are allowing the defense to be very physical with Trae. It is not going to get any easier for the Sooners the next 8-12 games remaining and only 4 in the LNC. I see 7+ or more losses.

I honestly couldn't possibly care less which games are considered "official" road wins. It's logic like this that allows the NCAA to put teams in their home city in the NCAA tournament. The Oregon, USC, and Wichita St games were all road games whether OU or the NCAA wants to call them that or not.

They're simply playing word games and I find those semantic games stupid. I'm going to call them what they are.

After last night, unfortunately I'm going to go with 10-8 league, 20-10 overall.

I think we'll win the home games, with WV being the least confident, isu - ut next, ksu last..so more confident.

Road games...ummm...obviously ku/tt will be the toughest with bu next and isu after that.

I just can't believe the amount of differences between this team at home vs the road.

Considering we added 2 Fr, granted 1 is a freak, to a 11-20 team my expectations have been met.

Obviously there are many things that I (most of us) see as issues but again, not much I can do about that.

The sad thing is Trae will be gone next year and it won't get better, more than likely worse...or maybe Trae being who he is is taking away development of the other guys...who knows.

It will be nice to see 3 OU guys in the league.

The road losses lately have been very disappointing especially when you have control for part or most of the game....no doubt. I"m hoping they find a way to steal a road win somewhere (ISU or Baylor) and can remain undefeated at home. That would get us to 11-7 and probably 3rd or 4th in conference. I can certainly live with that.

Fire Kruger! He is an average coach, and is not going to lead OU anywhere. At all. He has basically given up on trying to coach defense. And his decision to give the keys to Young is one I question. OU can do better.

Is this a joke? Do you remember Capel as the coach?

Definitely not in the fire LK group..lol but I do think he has sold out Def for offense and given TY free rein. Which is fine, it's his team. Very similar to football.

As great as TY is, we wouldn't be here if he wasn't, he definitely needs to ...I dunno...think sometimes.

We don't need 30 fters when up towards the end of the game. OU went away from attacking the bucket at ut. Settled for some horrible shots.

I have no expectations for the rest of the season. Hopefully finish 50/50 for the rest or better. Get into the ncaa, win a game or 2 and see what happens.

It’s about what you would expect for a team that two best starters are freshman .

I love Kruger ,he’s great .....but I will say I think his support staff if very average . We miss Henson big time .

Now this is something that I can agree with. Not just Henson but Lew Hill also.

I'm on board with that as well. Think back 11 years to Coach Capel's first team. We were relatively average, finishing the season slightly above .500. However, that team actually was Capel's best defensive team he had at OU. Why? It's not a coincidence he had former head coach Rod Barnes (whose specialty was defense) on staff for that one year. Don't underestimate what a good assistant may bring to the table.
