The LNC was as tiugh a venue as any in the country. We, the OU fans, can recreate that. People will argue I am wrong and this never happened but it did. Nobody wanted to play in the LNC. KU fans were envious of our home court.

Denver, you may want to change that to "1983 - 1990". Starting with the 1983-84 season, OU lost two home games in SEVEN YEARS...and I doubt Kansas could ever or will ever be able to make such a claim. The fans weren't always into the games, but definitely made an impact more times than not.

Also, for those younger fans who may not know this, going into the 1990-91 season, Coach K wanted to better prepare his Duke team for a deep NCAA Tournament run after getting embarrassed by UNLV in the 1990 title game. One of the things he did was schedule a game against OU at Lloyd Noble. They beat us (sadly, so did about everyone in the "Murphy's Law" year), and went on to win their first title.

I've meant to get this off my chest for a long time. That Duke @ OU game that snapped the streak was and still is the only OU game I've seen in Norman...

There, I said it.

Do not go to another game - EVER. Just admire from afar! :ez-laugh:
