Interesting that had OU beaten KU in Lawrence and in Norman, this OU team would be VERY similar to the '88 team. As a result of losing those two games, instead of being #1 clear cut favorite like we were in '88 OU is seeing the other side of that coin and sort of being placed on the back burner instead this time around... just like that '88 Kansas basketball team.

So wouldn't it be sweet justice if OU and Kansas were to not meet again until the NCAA National Title game? I will be expecting full pay back with a Manning like national championship game for Buddy Hield.

yeah if the NC was in Kansas City..That 88 team would clean this year OU's clock. I said that about a month ago and say it again.

I like the OP's thinking, but hope we finish the regular season better than '88 KU did. Weren't they a 6 seed in the NCAAs?
