1st workout Video and Tony Crocker Highlight Video

Tyler Neal looks like he aged a couple years over the summer.

Pledger looks very sharp in this video. You can tell that he was really dedicated to working on his body over the summer. Cade looks sharp as always. Cameron had some good moments in this video but you can tell he has not been on campus like the rest of the guys. I'm confident he will get into game shape though. I also thought T Neal looked like he was in pretty good shape and gaining some muscle mass. It looks like the guys have put in some work this summer and I like that.

Just watched the Video and Pledger looked very impressive, his handle is tighter, he has some explosion too the rim, and his stroke looks effortless...I seeing big things for him this yr!

what's funny is I can name at least 6 big name coaches who will use less "shooting" practice than that nearly all year long.

Pledger looks too be in much better shape and explosive. Neal is a lot more athletic than I thought. He looked more athletic than Cam in that workout.

Who you got in mind?

Wow, Pledger has gained at least 5 inches on his vertical I would say!
He was throwing those down with authorit-I.

Neal may be getting some quality PT this season.

LOL...duh

That didn't surprise me about Neal though. The other things I had seen of him really showed he had some decent athleticism.

Whats so funny is Caple is from the coach "K", coaching tree, so it stands to reason that most of his practise are like his or his dad...you know the NBA coach...duh

Most interesting things are: (1) the position group that Neal is working with; and (2) that he looks like a solid fit athletically with that group.

And, unless I am missing something, Tj wasn't with the wings so I presume he is working with Newell and Blair at PG. That is something else I am excited abot: When is the last time we had three PG's pushing each other for PT?

I'm starting to get a little excited, I'll admit it.

I really like this group. I have no idea if that will translate into more wins than last year? But if these kids work hard and stay focused on a team approach to their season, instead of allowing that "it's all about me" attitude to rear its ugly head again, I couldn't care less about our win-loss record. I want to hold my head high and stick out my chest with pride when someone asks me about OU basketball. I hope I never see a repeat of the distractions, both on and off the court, that seemed to define the 2009-2010 season.

Just a few things I noticed. Cade appears to be ready to assume a leadership role. I hope that's the case, because this young team will need a leader(s), and he's the type of person the newbies will look to for guidance.
Pledge seems to have a lot more confidence in who he is as a player now. The increase in his explosion to the rim is obvious. Tyler has replaced some of that "baby fat" with muscle since he arrived on campus. I knew he was athletic, but he looks like a totally different player than we saw in high school.

Good stuff! Thanks for posting!!!

Neal surprised me with how good his feet looked. Pledger definetly looks to be in better shape and more confident going to the hole. Cameron looks decent, but obviously is behind the other players as far as conditioning and being in basketball shape, but he will catch up. For those who think Cade should come off the bench. You're kidding yourselves. We need Cade's energy early in basketball games. Very pleased with that group as a whole. Everyone seemed to be going hard with good work ethic. BOOMER SOONER BABY!!!

My sentiments exactly.

just now got to watch it...

Was very impressed with the explosiveness of all guys except Clark...you could tell his legs are not there yet and he hasnt been working out at a high level yet...

Bird was the Most impressive, with Neal coming a close second...(only because i know what Cade brings)...

Gonna be fun to watch and see the progression from last year to this year for Bird, he has the tools to be a consistent scorer if he expands his game...
