2 NCAA and BCS Bids

One thing that needs to be creatively designed is a way to expand the Pac-10 without losing an automatic BCS and NCAA tournament bid the Big XII schools currently receive.

It would not make sense to walk away from 1 each. You almost wonder if there can be an alliance where there are Southwestern and Pacific conference champions under an umbrella of a shared TV network and negotiated TV contracts.

I agree. Otherwise it will be that much more difficult for the new schools to get bids. USC football isn't going anywhere. The automatic BCS is more important. The automatic for basketball is basically irrelevant in power conferences anyways.

Surely the BCS as we know it will be gone. There won't be 6 conferences that deserve an automatic bid. Looks like a playoff could be right around the corner.

you're right about that, Usc football won't be going anywhere for at least 2 years. No Rose bowl, no orange bowl, no holiday bowl, no sun bowl, NOTHING!:ez-roll::ez-roll:

OU and UT could be the saviors to the Pac 10 when USC hits the skids for about the next 8-10 years!

If I'm a USC football fan I'm extremely concerned. Not only are you going on probation but you have a head coach whose best record as a head coach is 7-6.
