2012 Recruit, Shabazz Muhammad

If anyone is keeping a list of the recruits OU is in on with each class, you can add Shabazz Muhammad's name to the 2012 list. He's a combo wing out of Bishop Gorman HS in Las Vegas, the same school that produced OU football player, DeMarco Murray. Scout shows OU has already offered, along with a host of other big name schools.

This is what Scout's Evan Daniels had to say about his performance at the Las Vegas tourney:

Shabazz Muhammad, SF, Dreamvision – In front of a big group of head coaches, Muhammad did plenty to show why the attention is warranted. The 6-foot-4 lefty was especially tough to handle on the glass, as he aggressively went after boards. Offensively he seemed to score at will, whether it was spot up jumpers, drives to the rim or finishes in the open court. He’s a talented looking prospect, as he’s got long arms, a great frame and solid athleticism.
