I'm not surprised. Greene had a knack for staying in Self's doghouse. Self went bonkers toward the end of the season when Greene dunked the ball against KSU with one second left and KU already comfortably ahead. He said It was a "classless" act.

My guess is Greene had no choice but to move on, so he decided to declare for the NBA. He's a good athlete with some potential. I just don't think he has much of a chance to make an NBA team. D league, maybe, but likely overseas.

Yeah would you rather transfer as a junior or go overseas? Since he probably wouldn't get drafted next year either might as well go now.

This is great. After losing 3 starters, its good that our big 12 competition is getting weaker. No Tubby Smith, No Williams at West Virginia and no Taylor at Texas. We should finish 2nd in the big 12.
