2019 SG De’Vion Harmon Committed

He's shooting .750 from the free-throw line this season. I'd be very pleased if he kept that up; it's hard to complain about .750 from a big man.

Lattin also avg close to 8 boards... tough crowd for our senior leader.

He may average 8 boards a game but Lattin makes bonehead play after bonehead play. He still hasn't learned to defend without leaving his feet. When he actually makes a shot I cringe because I know he's going to start forcing them. He hasn't developed an ounce since he was a sophomore. It's just my humble opinion, but I would rather see McNeace in the game.

Virtually every season, there's a player or two who get singled out by some fans as a huge problem that simply must be solved or this team is going nowhere! It would happen even if we went undefeated and won the national title.

Ironically, some of those players (Johnny Gilbert, to name one) are now remembered with great fondness and admiration, but boy, did they catch grief for the majority of their careers in crimson and cream.

You’re correct. Sad.

Very humble opinion it sounds like. :facepalm

There are so many coaching experts on this board it’s a wonder Joe Castiglione ever found Lon Kruger!

I think Lattin is having a really good year.

Back to the thread topic.... we won't get Harmon next season, and we need 2 PG's. I'm hoping for a grad transfer to complement Sheperd.

Not many grad transfers want to come be a backup, I wonder if Bienemy can fill that role.

I was thinking Sheperd would be backing up the PG grad transfer.... I want an elite player. Maybe one of the top 3 PG's in the B12. Hopefully, they see how Kruger lets them run the show in a fun, fast-paced offensive system.

Bienemy is mostly a 2-guard according to my referee buddies who have seen him play.

I would love for OU to get an elite grad transfer, but so does everyone else and there isn't very many. It actually would probably be Moore if OU can get him.
