2025 NCAA Tourney Bracketology

Yeah, being on the bubble would have helped seeding and maybe a better match-up, but man, that's not a place where I want to live. It's sucked the last few years.

Reality is this isn't the same UConn of the last two years. Lost 3 of 4 and then put together some wins late. Don't shoot a ton of threes, doesn't force as many as TOs as previous years... rebounding will be an issue. But they are beatable this year. Close strong and play like we have the last three weeks, we have a shot.

Let's face it. Tennessee, Alabama, Houston, St Johns... Florida, those all would have been bad 2nd round matchups for us regardless of our seeding. And glad to not be playing Kansas. That would have sucked- once in the NCAA tourney was enough.

Just glad to be in and looking for an upset on Friday! Better than being angry about being the first four out. I've had enough of those days.
This is true, but I feel like Houston and St. Johns are teams we would probably at least make a game out of. Florida is just blowing everyone out right now.

But we are in and have a shot to knock off Hurley and the defending champs. I get to advance us in a bracket, even when I don’t believe it. That’s more than I thought would happen a few weeks ago.

So people who thought the ncaa would leave us out because they hate us are now complaining because we got seeded too high and it leads to a tough possible matchup?
Allow me to apologize for the entire board. It's a crying shame how often we disappoint you.

Are you sure it's the same people making those two complaints? You have a tendency to lump everyone together when offering your critiques.

In any case, it's not just us. I'm confident in stating that fans across the country whose teams are seeded 8 or 9 are wishing they'd been rated a bit higher or a bit lower, given it's widely accepted that the 8/9 game is best avoided.

Thoughts everyone? Man, I didn't want the 9 seed!
UConn really is a great matchup for us, in my opinion. They have struggled defending this year, and I think they will have a tough time guarding Fears, Moore, etc., on the ball. They also don't have a dominant big guy like they have had in years past. Guarding bigs has always been our Achilles' heel. Obviously, Florida in round two isn't great, but would be happy to get past round of 64.
