I’ll take it. I don’t want 8-911 means we probably end up playing in Dayton though. Right?

Not really.Have there been any upsets in the non-Power 5 tournament finals?
Would be interesting. I worry about OUr depth and fatigue in the tournament becoming a factor. Are we a single-digit seed if we beat Kentucky tomorrow?

We played well enough to win. So you can eat your words “in a word.”This is what living on the bubble feels like. If you feel like I do, that this is the PM ceiling, then get used to it. In a word it sucks.

The last update of the night by Lunardi had us as the last team with a bye. He is far from the best at predicting the field and seeds, but food for thought. There could still be a couple scenarios where Dayton is in play. A win tomorrow eliminates that, undoubtedly. We're definitely out of Dayton now, guessing teetering somewhere on the 10/11 seed list. Man looking at the 2 vs 3 seeds if you want this team to make a run you want to get that 11 and hopefully get a chance against one of these 3 seeds.
I guess several things could go wrong to put us in Dayton, but I feel that Lunardi has had us too low and only bumping us up one spot after tonight doesn’t seem right either. I feel like we will be quite a bit higher than where he has us.The last update of the night by Lunardi had us as the last team with a bye. Quick update (although I've had a few celebratory drinks). Ohio State is gone. Oregon plays Indiana early tomorrow (not that it matters), but IU isn't jumping us unless they get to the Finals. Zags won the WCC.....cool. Marquette plays Xavier early.....would just prefer that Marquette knocks them out. The American, A-10 and MW conference tournaments haven't really started yet. Bid stealing opportunities are dwindling, but it ain't going to affect us necessarily.....I just want to stay out of Dayton. WV losing early to a gawd awful Colorado team today may allow us to jump them with our win tonight as well.....but not sure.I really don't anticipate having another year of "bid stealers" like we had last year. But these are the conferences and teams we need to win the tournaments:
- American - need Memphis to win the tournament. They don't have another team in that conference near the bubble.
- Atlantic 10 - need VCU to win the tournament. Like the American Conference, this is a one-bid league currently (VCU).
- Big East - need St. John's, Marquette, UCONN or Creighton to win the tournament.....which is v ery likely.
- Big 10 - need Indiana, Ohio State, and Nebraska all to lose early. And gawd forbid, we can't having any of those teams winning it.
- Big 12 - just need one of the top 7 seeds to win that tournament. It wouldn't hurt if WV lost really early as well.
- Mountain West - Need New Mexico, Utah State or San Diego State to win the tournament. And hopefully Boise loses early.
- West Coast - Need St. Mary's or Gonzaga to win the tournament....which is very likely.
i can’t see two sec teams in the first four, so texas can have it. we’ll take a 10 and hopefully a fri/sun.
