Latest men's Bracketology: UConn emerges as a No. 1 seed for 2025-26
Currently slotted in as a 7 seed

IMHO, I still think tournament performance has to be part of the equation. If they win a tourney game and are at least competitive in round of 32 (and roster is not a shambles for following season), I think he should stay. That would be progress to me.7 would likely be a disappointing year imo and I would hope that pm can move on elsewhere and we get paid some of the buyout (or waive it to get rid of him)

There are at least 3 things that are wrong or don’t make sense about this comment. And guess you’ll be disappointed-again
I am all for an expansion to 72 teams .. all 16's play in opening round and bottom 8 at large play in opening round ..
would make Tuesday and Wednesday quad headers .. and change nothing else
Let's get rid of the season and just make it a 1,000 team tournament and then everyone can make it! YayExpanding is dumb but inevitable. More years than not, there are already teams making the field that don't deserve to be in, so why add to that with four more mediocre teams? But it certainly is about money, and it'll allow four more coaches each year to brag about making the tourney. But I read an article the other day in which a few coaches pointed out that the more teams you add, the less value there is in simply making it.
Don't get me wrong, I am a college hoops junkie and will watch the added games, but I think making the tourney should be a reward for teams that truly deserve to play in the national championship tournament.
i would rather go back to 64 .. .. but if they are going to play basketball on tuesday and wednesday .. i would rather watch 4 games each day then 2 ..Expanding is dumb but inevitable. I get this opinion 100%, but the CBB regular season has already been rendered largely meaningless IMO.Let's get rid of the season and just make it a 1,000 team tournament and then everyone can make it! Yay
The latter sentence is exactly why it shouldn’t be expanded. It is a tournament to crown a champion. We shouldn’t put teams in just so players get to feel good about themselves.Im fine with it. More basketball to watch and gives more teams a chance to play. End of the day it doesnt make a difference who goes far.
