Keziah Lofton and Zya Vann…At this point, I don't believe a single Ojlahona girl will commit to OU. Hasn't happened in a long time. Heck, the football team can't get Oklahomw kids to commit.

Caya Smith also…so 3 Oklahoma recruits all rated in the top 100 in last 2 classesKeziah Lofton and Zya Vann…
And twice that many have said "nah" to OU. How many top 100 Oklahoma girls were there last year? I think 5 or 6, at one point. And OU got...*checks notes*...and not the 5 star from 3 miles from campus.Caya Smith also…so 3 Oklahoma recruits all rated in the top 100 in last 2 classes
Oklahoma High School recruits and OU are no different than other places and girls. Below is a link to the ESPN top 100 for 2025. Review the list and you will find about 85% of the girls are going to schools out of state. You are stuck in a mindset from 25 years ago or longer...the reality is now girls go away from home a lot more than they stay close to home. And since OU resides in a relatively small population state with only slightly more than 1% of the US population we are lucky that is the case. And twice that many have said "nah" to OU. Please quit moving goal posts. I am talking about in-state recruits, and it's a problem that OU can't get many, for some reason.Yeah got the once in a generational player in chavez. But checks notes... keep crying.
Why would seek out lesser talent just they are in state? Please quit moving goal posts. I am talking about in-state recruits, and it's a problem that OU can't get many, for some reason.
But create those strawman arguments for likes.
Yup.Poke fan.
Yes. But until OU lands another in-state prospect, I won't feel they are the favorites. Is OU a finalist for her??
Have those elite in-state recruits turned into elite national players?JB has a poor record in signing elite in state recruits since she has been at OU.
