I have always liked Porter personally but was ready to say arrivederci last year. Had hopes with new talent this year but still don’t see the things I am looking for. We’re not tough more than anything else. A coach has to develop that. We aren’t going to get enough talent to make up for lack of toughness.

I'm done with him.....guy has not met expectations here. We may win a couple of more games and actually limp into the NCAA tournament somehow, but this kind of basketball makes my eyes bleed. He can take his sorryass offensive clownshow somewhere else.

Realistically, how much better would you expect to be next year? I know we are going to the SEC and it will be somewhat easier schedule-wise, but when you run a system that is flawed (and even worse, you don't seem to have the players to function well within the system), you're going to have a low ceiling for success every year. We have a gaudy record because we basically beat 8 nobodies and then beat two other teams that have under-achieved significantly. I think we can do better and should do better.

Screw Moser. What a miserable failure he is. I’m eagerly awaiting all the built in excuses about injuries and refs and who knows what else. He gave an unathletic stiff like Luke crucial minutes in this game, made no adjustments, didn’t call timeouts when the game got away from us, and once again kept Cooper on the bench. If that idiot is still coaching us next season, I’ll be shocked if Cooper sticks around.

The offense is stand around, maybe ball screen with the walk on that cant pop to shoot outside and also cant finish around the rim anyway. Pass it around a few times, jack a contested 3, drive inside and heave a contested runner, or even better, turn it over. Rinse and repeat. Very rarely get runout layups (wouldnt matter if we did bc uzan is scared of layups and/or the handling guards would throw a full court pass like 3 secs too late). Rarely get put backs. We are a joke at FTs anyway, save mccollum, soares, and moore.

Well, Moser deserved to be trashed since this is a winnable game and his record in 3 years against the Big 12 is 19-30 so far which is not good enough

My two biggest complaints are that we walk the ball up the court at a snail's pace and then take another 3-5 seconds to get into our offense...you've just wasted about 10-12 seconds of the shot clock getting into your offense (which pretty much stinks anyway). And then we have to end up forcing a shot. Second, his personnel decisions after continual mistakes by the same guys.....there seem to be no consequences after TOs, mental miscues, etc. Maybe there are consequences and I just don't see them, but the data tells me that these mistakes sure as hell aren't getting corrected in practice.

I’m ready to move on but the question becomes, move on to who? No good coach will come here with the baggage this program has weighing it down.

True....but he is responsible for deploying his offensive system and getting players who can execute within his system. He has been a miserable failure on the offensive end his entire tenure. Maybe he should stop trying to bring in mid-major guys who can't play consistently at this level. This team can't shoot nor can they finish at the rim. Far too often, this team flat sucks offensively.

I believe some is on coach, but his offense system was getting players to the basket and open 3’s. We were missing them. Not sure I like his style, but if we shoot 40% from field, system looks pretty good.
