miami vs memphis going down to final couple minutes, both teams are very athletic.

Getting a nice midwestern flavor midday tomorrow.
TU-ORU at 11 am followed up by Baylor and I believe Lasalle.
Then Kansas State and a pretty good test after that.

Disappointed I have class during VT@KSU and OSU@Fla, which will probably be the two most entertaining games. I'll watch SC@MSU for sure, and probably some of Butler@Louisville as well.

Miami just chucked up an atrocious 3-pointer that really did not need to be taken that early...they go down 72-68

Enjoyed the memphis and miami game, i like both teams style of play. I am interested in seeing perry jones play. Lots of solid games on tuesday night. Louisville is opening up a new 22,000 arena with 5 new starters.

Just remembered former Sooner recruit Trey Zeigler is playing for Central Michigan, one of about 5 top 50 guys to visit last year and not sign with OU.

Central is a mediocre basketball team even with him there...my friends that go there say it's literally only him, the rest of their guys are not good at all.

I watched the 2nd half of that Central Michigan vs Hawaii game. I thought Central Michigan had the makings of a pretty good team. Typical MAC team- physical/quick guards and a few muscled up undersized posts. Hawaii beat them but Central Michigan is picked to win the MAC. And Hawaii's gym was rocking (shocking to me). They had a huge homecourt advantage in that one.

Zeigler made a critical turnover down the stretch. Hawaii held on to win 65-62. Gritty win for the Sooners last night. Easy to fold when you have a shooting night like that. Glad to see you all pull it out. Very impressed with the court awareness of Thompson.

I think you will see Baylor use Perry Jones a lot like OU uses Thompson- point forward at the top of the key. Smart move by Drew in my opinion. Perry has a tendency to drift when he is playing off the ball. If you force him to have the ball a lot, he stays engaged and he is a lot more effective.

Back in the late 80s/early 90s Hawaii used to have some pretty good things going in basketball, and a very loyal fan following. I remember them beating some pretty darned good Tulsa teams.

Edit: you can actually go all through the 90s and even into the 2000s and Hawaii has had steady success in basketball.
