This game in Austin was all I could think about from the time A&M made the comeback. Two ridiculous blown leads, but also two incredible jobs of overcoming the collapse and winning in OT. Lots of teams wouldn’t have even put up a fight after blowing it and having so many guys foul out.

Never seen that situation before. 4 dudes foul out and the walk on never playing guard had to come in and he ran up and bailed out the inbounder from a 5 sec count and hit a very meaningful FT. Crazy

Can someone explain to me why, in that situation, the defense doesn’t just put all five guys on the three point line? Why even guard them before the inbound pass when they have guys standing 10 feet from the basket when you know all of them are just going to end up at the three point line? I will never understand it.

Thought the same in the girls game. Just do a permiter only 5 person zone

That and they never show the key players shaking hands. Love seeing that "game respect game" type stuff from the top players and they NEVER show it.

There aren't many teams from the Big XII I will root for in March, but I can get behind Houston because of Kelvin Sampson and his assistants. I also like Iowa State because of their fan base - and I will never forget how they reacted several years back when Marcus Smart was introduced in the starting lineup for the Pokes. My weekend was good with Kansas getting destroyed and both Texas and Baylor losing.

It seems so obvious that it makes me wonder if I’m missing something. It would prevent them from screening you or losing you on a cut, and it would be easy enough to react and swarm to wherever the pass goes because the pass will have to go 25 feet. If I ever get a chance to talk to a college coach, I’m asking this question lol.

The people who run sports nowadays dont know anything about the fans.. i want to know what class all of the starters are in college sports.. they have done away with that for absolutely no reason (i think they've done it to college bball too). Watch in football

The game of college basketball with its ebbs and flows is a crazy experience....especially in the tournament. This was a game that Houston easily could have lost, but virtually every team that makes it to the Final Four has a game like this on their way there. As good as Duke looked today and as shaky as Houston looked.....I would almost bet the farm that Houston will beat Duke convincingly. It just seems like that is the way it works in this tournament.
