'24 NCAA Tourney Discussion Thread

The game of college basketball with its ebbs and flows is a crazy experience....especially in the tournament. This was a game that Houston easily could have lost, but virtually every team that makes it to the Final Four has a game like this on their way there. As good as Duke looked today and as shaky as Houston looked.....I would almost bet the farm that Houston will beat Duke convincingly. It just seems like that is the way it works in this tournament.

I just worry about Houston's health. Tonight's game took a lot out of them as well.

May not be the Duke game that gets them, but whoever they play should they beat Duke. Hopefully they are getting the late game on Friday.

There aren't many teams from the Big XII I will root for in March, but I can get behind Houston because of Kelvin Sampson and his assistants. I also like Iowa State because of their fan base - and I will never forget how they reacted several years back when Marcus Smart was introduced in the starting lineup for the Pokes. My weekend was good with Kansas getting destroyed and both Texas and Baylor losing.

a little emotional and talking about late teammate reggie chaney. it wasn’t much, but i could just tell what a genuine, good dude he is.

I enjoy early-round upsets as much as anyone, but if those teams make it to the second weekend, it can lead to some blowouts. Lots of heavyweights left this year, so should be some very good games next week.

Eh. We have hundreds of games played to judge them. Clemson and NC State are on good runs but there were lots of bad teams in that league.

Every time AZ looked like they were gonna storm back Clemson made a couple shots and went up 4 or 5.
