If you watched Virginia and you don't think that OU would win that game 9 out of 10 times, your weed dealer must be a very successful business man.

Edit to add: OU had 5 games of 80+ pts, 6 games of 70+ pts, 6 games of 60+ pts, 1 game of 50+ and 1 game of 40+. If you didn't watch the play-in games, that is okay too.

Eye test.

Watched the games, OU would have beaten those teams, most times.
My eyes saw us look like horse crap in the following games: Texas (2), TCU (2), Baylor, KU, UCF, OSU, ISU, UNC.

Colorado has a high lotto guy and another guard better than any of ours, and a big that would give us fits. CSU has a guard better than any of ours. Virginia? I mean, they are painful to watch, but there is little doubt we would struggle to score against them. I think we may beat them more than 50 percent of the time, but not even close to 9 of 10. Hell, we probably would only beat OSU 7 of 10 this season, if that.

It’s so silly to watch those teams play once and form an opinion. If someone watched us play once and it was one of our many awful games, they’d think we are garbage. If they watched us play once and it was the home games against BYU or ISU, they’d have a totally different opinion. But as WS pointed out, we didn’t beat a tournament quality team all year outside the LNC.

OU has scored 40/50 only twice this year. Both with injuries in the lineup. OU is scoring 60+

Let's ask it this way, how many times, in your opinion does OU win/lose vs Virginia in 10 games?

Love how you only choose KP to fit your one narrative statement:
Here is one for you...UVA, currently 73rd in KenPom overall (selectively saying they are the 7th ranked defensive efficiency and not showing they are ranked 211th in offensive efficiency)

Edit: OU is the 49th offense and 34th defense.
I’d say we would beat Virginia six, maybe 7 of 10. You saying 9 is laughable. Again, put us on a neutral floor against the Pokes and we probably win 7. Virginia is much better than OSU by any measure.

If I said 7 or 8 times out of 10, would that suffice? I absolutely was being hyperbolic and anything can happen...its why March Madness is amazing.

The main point was that UVA does not belong in this tournament.

the high lotto guy played 11 min last night .. he is very much a potential guy
I mean, he scores as much as our leading scorer, shoots it exponentially better, and has great size. He clearly will be better down the road but he is already plenty good.

I don’t think 8, but I also don’t disagree about Virginia. I just don’t think we belonged in any more than two or three other teams. If we got selected, a team like St. John’s would have the same gripes had we come out and played as poorly in the play-in as we did most games down the stretch.

January Oklahoma beats Virginia ten times out of ten. March Oklahoma doesn’t.

i do think he is trying to fight back from an injury ..

only 5.75 ppg the last 4 ..

Duquesne is destroying BYU early. BYU is looking bad on offense.

BYU just took the lead after trailing the first 12 minutes.

BYU not looking great. I was looking for Big 12 teams to lose early, but didn't have BYU being one of them. Thought they'd get thru today pretty easily. March Madness though.

There is basketball being played in the middle of all these ads. This is ridiculous.

They staggered games so at least 3 games are all either at half time or on commercial making it almost all commercials and some basketball once in a while.

The Akron game literally went about 10 minutes with 15 seconds of game play.

Random thought I had while watching the early slate, if we could do a better job at evaluating and keeping some of our HS guys in Norman the team would be so much better. Just off the top of my head:

Jaxson Robinson (BYU)
Trey Alexander (Creighton)
Brandon Garrison (OSU)
Sean Pedulla (Virginia Tech)
Bryce Thompson (OSU)
Parker Friedrichson (Wake Forest)

All these guys were OK preps players that would’ve been upgrades over most of the players on our current roster.

Michigan State is gonna breeze by Mississippi State.

Duquesne is making BYU look like the double digit seed.

Michigan State cannot run lob plays and Miss State has no clue how to run a fast break...lol
