#24 OU @ #5 texas 6PM CST on ESPN2

yeah terrible ending by both teams.. Hill really got lucky, then jacks one up holy cow.. Texas player was a real douche clapping his hands on line there.. Refs need to correct that ish and burn the kid for it. If Hill gets another FT and makes it may teach the kid a lesson. Then Texas just terrible attempt at end.

Question about contact tracing and the Big XII. If a player comes in contact with someone who has COVID-19, they have to isolate for x amount of days, correct? If that's true, and Shaka Smart has COVID-19, why doesn't everyone on the Texas team have to isolate for x amount of days?

Really, folks. We were playing the No. 5 team in the country – on their home court. This was a big win, no matter how sloppy the game got at times.

And Reaves was OU's leading scorer. If he scores two less (21), we lose. I would hope some of us would stop being so hard on the kid. Overall, he played a good game.

25 point 50% field 33% 3 7-8 from the line 6 board 3 ast 1 steal and only 1 turnover

At least Reaves has hit some clutch free throws down the stretch.

He also went for 25, 6, and 3 with only one turnover. I get it, he had two or three awful possessions down the stretch, but I’ll go ahead and say I’m glad he was on our team tonight. As others have pointed out, Reaves will always be the guy getting crushed on here regardless of what happens.

No, as obvious by the fact we only had Hill have to isolate/quarantine when Manek had Covid. I’m sure it depends on the proximity and duration of contact. If someone was 30 fee from Shaka for a few seconds, that person wouldn’t have to isolate.

Ain’t no such thing as an asterisk. Third top 10 win this month. Take that home and make it 4 on Saturday.

Considering they were shorthanded, and how miserable we were at free throws, we should feel lucky.
Yeah, that’s 2of the last 3 that the guys have been pretty craptastic at the line (KSU is so bad I don’t think too many noticed in that one). Hope that trend ends in pretty short order.

It's a W! Any win against them is sweet. Hey, they've beaten us too many times when we've kicked them up and down the court. I'll take it.

Correct. And I'll add that people who come into close proximity to someone with COVID are the ones who quarantine. Only those who test positive for the virus go into isolation. Semantics, I guess, but factual.

Dude. You saw those poop trash shots at the end right? He could have had 50 pts and everyone on the board would have ragged on anybody.. justifiably

He had a good game otherwise tho. Which makes those shots even more painful for me

Look forward to the next game with them. They should have a more complete team and we should make more FTs and play better.

Well, I don’t see many people trashing Harmon by name for his seven turnovers, including two unforced ones down the stretch. I don’t mind posters pointing out bad decisions and careless play, but I don’t think there is any doubt Reaves get more than his share of crap.

Yep

2 seconds left in the game. Jalen just bounced his second free throw, and my connection died!
arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr crap!!!!!!!

ESPN had out the UT crying towel at halftime of the Mizzou-Auburn game. Spare me! No one felt bad for OU when we went to Lawrence down two players.

I have my overpriced tickets on my phone for OU-Bama. I guess if we win that one, they'll rationalize that one away, too. Bama did finally beat Kentucky by 11 tonight.

BTW, good call in an earlier post about the screw job that OU got in Lincoln in '80. Overton's shot should have counted. That was an absolute killer for that OU team's momentum (and one of two epic thefts in second-semester sports - the Bedlam wrestling travesty was even worse in Stillwater that year).

I'm guessing UT's Brown is taking this one-point loss pretty hard.
