#24 OU @ #5 texas 6PM CST on ESPN2

Re: #24 OU @ #5 texas

here, according to soonerstats.com, is how many times we finished the season ranked in the top 25 for each of the past few decades (i don't know which poll is used on that site):

1980s: 5 times

1990s: 3 times

2000s: 7 times

2010s: 3 times

capel managed it once; sampson and tubs, seven times each. Coach kruger has so far done it three times.

I use the AP poll

Yes, it is! I have used SoonerStats for many years. There is nothing like it available anywhere that I’m aware of. The best part, as the name implies, the site is geared exclusively to interesting and valuable OU sports information.

It’s a great service! Thank you, SoonerStats! :OU-logo:

NORMAN – There are no nights off in the Big 12, especially this season. When No. 24 Oklahoma (9-4, 5-3) heads to Austin on Tuesday to face No. 5 Texas (11-2, 5-1), it will be the Sooners fifth game against a top-10 team this month.

Six of OU's next seven games are against teams ranked in the top-11 of the latest AP Top-25.

The Sooners will be tested on Tuesday by a Texas squad that offers an experienced lineup and returns every player from last season. Four Texas players are averaging at least 11 points and the Horns have won their 11 games by an average of 11.1 points.

Oklahoma hopes to stay hot behind strong play from De'Vion Harmon and Austin Reaves while role players like Elijah Harkless and Umoja Gibson continue to evolve.

Re: #24 OU @ #5 texas

from the athletic

No. 24 Oklahoma at No. 5 Texas (-5.5), 7 p.m. ET, ESPN2. This one added an interesting wrinkle on Monday when Longhorns coach Shaka Smart announced he has tested positive for COVID-19. The game appears to still be on, but Texas won’t have its coach on the bench. Greg Brown and Kai Jones are also questionable because of contact tracing. By the time you read this, the game may be postponed or the line might have moved significantly. But there are just too many question marks with the home team as of this writing. The pick: Oklahoma

didn't know that they possibly are going to have players out

80-81 was Bliss (15-12) and 81-82 for Billy (9-18: the famous Ohio Northern L i attended), given where he started.
78-79: Big 8 Champs (Regular and Post). Sweet 16
79-80: Last season for Bliss. Faceplant in closing stretch. Screwed in Lincoln.
80-81: Billy arrives. Ohio Northern victorious. The Polar Bears.
81-82: Foundation poured. The Irvine game. Chucky Barnett.

The amount of hours I've spent on SoonerStats......I'd rather not say. I e-mailed him years ago because I found a Hoops-related mistake. It was like corresponding with Santa Claus himself.

Thank you, sir, for ALL that you do.

Really looking forward to this game. I will only be disappointed if we get away from the good defense and effort that we have shown in the last 4 games. And even the Baylor game was good effort although our execution was lacking at times

But do I ever want to win this one!
