If we could shoot the ball from deep with any regularity, how good could we be this year?

As a team we're shooting 31%, and of those who shoot regularly, only Hornbeak is shooting better than 35%. Pledge has dropped to 33% and Hield is shooting 27%. Isaiah Cousins and Tyler Neal are shooting it almost as well as Buddy...

Yep, we're not a great three point shooting team. Pledger isn't shooting it quite as well as he needs to be, and the others aren't either. I think Hornbeak has the second best shot (3 point stroke) on the team. He looked good running the "Pledger sets" yesterday. I hope to see more of that. With Hield out, Hornbeak will need to score a little more.

The one saving grace is that M'Baye, Osby, Fitzgerald and Clark can all stretch a defense by knocking down 15-17 foot shoots. Osby should arguably take a few more 3 pointers. I don't want him forcing it but he has a good shooting percentage from 3 point range.

A Michael Neal or Tim Heskett type shooter would be a huge addition for this team.
