Loved the EFFORT today! Hopefully, all of us OU fans are proud of the way our team hung in there after a horrific start, and really came on strong. Cam and Carl had their best games in a Sooner uniform. I was most impressed with Coach Capel changing up the defense and with his "timely timeouts" which we always seemed to score immediately thereafter.

This team will still need someone else to step up to beat Cincinnati, but I'm a lot more optimistic about stealing a win than I was six days ago.

We dont do well on offense unless and until we play good defense-hint, hint. Those guys should be learning that now. Crowd did a good job. I hope Blair and Clark continue to play well. Blair is starting to learn defense and is a better rebounder than you might suppose. aI'd much rather have Washington than Thompson on ther floor.

It might be a function of his having missed practices this week, but I wonder if the Nick Thompson experiment isn't coming to an end.
