Only saw the last few minutes and didn't see Chavez take a shot. She looked to be the main ball handler for team USA.
Anybody know her stats for the game?

If I heard right she had 10 points on 4-11 shooting…made 2 3s and had 5 assists. She was the primary PG for team USA and played more of the facilitator role this game. Showed good court vision and passing

The spring signing period starts April 16th…so I would expect we will get the official announcement on Aaliyah and a OU press release for the entire freshman signing class on Wednesday.

I figured they would. She hasn’t had that great of a showing in her USA game and McDonald’s AA games.

But she still has been affective too! She only drop down 2 spots.

I agree with you. A LOT of people don’t think she’s the #1 player anymore after committing to Oklahoma. And thats ok because thats just going to make her want to show out this next coming season.

ESPN rankings gets the most notice because it is the biggest sports media company…the actual rankings are outsourced to a GBB scouting service Premier Basketball Report run by a scout and former coach…Shane Laflin.

Another similar service All Star Girls Report and they put out this tweet on Aaliyah


So she is still #1 in this scouting services opinion…the reality is it doesn’t matter…Aaliyah is very talented and will certainly improve our play.
