Trey Young is a Jordan brand rep and he just donated 150 tickets for Norman youth to attend the 1st/2nd round games. I think there is a connection and doesn’t mean she’s going to OU but I think we’re closer than most people think but I think she likes Jennie the best of the coaches and OU’s style of play fits her best. Jordan brand could also be involved with her NIL with the growth of women’s basketball. Fingers crossed!!!
 
Aaliyah is sitting 3 rows in front of me. She and her family were escorted to her seats by Jeff Weber who is in charge of 1Oklahoma.

Joe Harroz has also come down pregame to say hello to Aaliyah and her dad.

Raegan Beers parents have come over at halftime to talk with Aaliyah and her dad.

Now Joe C comes by also.

I agree, it cannot be anything but good to see her at the game today knowing she's committing in a couple days! Man we need her!!! Especially how we played today just imagine if we had a player that could create her own offense?!
 
When I listened to Reagan and Peyton's postgame interviews after the Alabama game and Reagan's interview after today's game I felt like they were direct messages to recruits, Chavez in particular.
 


In an interview like this she is always going to say nice things about the school she is visiting but it is encouraging that she is interested enough to see us in person shortly before her decision. Also certainly got a chance to see us play fast…the style she wants to play.

Not to dampen the excitment but she would be able to attend Texas 2nd game in Austin, as well.
 
I just read Aaliyah Chavez will not be attending the Texas 2nd round game today. Idk how true that is but I just read that on Twitter.
If true thats will be interesting…

Or it's a school day, so not as convenient. OU won't be able to pay her, so it's likely the visit was a show to UT to pay up.
 
Her parents probably couldn’t take off today. And Austin is quite a bit further than Norman is from Lubbock.
