Who are you most excited about? Not the best one or who starts.. just who are ready to see in a Sooner Jersey in a real game?

Im going with Lattin, just his skill set and I think he will make a huge difference this year in the paint.

Lattin as well, rim protector immediately with upside to be a versatile menace on both offense and defense.

Honestly, I'm most excited about Thomas. We know he is high level starter already. He might be the guy to get us over the hump.

Thomas is my guy too. Others, closer to the situation than me, believe he will prove out to be better than Osby.

He has definitely been more productive to this point in his career than Roe but they seem like different style players to me. Thomas is my pick as well with Buford and Walker next in line.

I can't wait to hear how the summer pickup games are going. I want to hear who stands out especially as they match up against the returning players.

I think Lattin may have the highest upside over time. Buford probably contributes the most (of the freshman) in year 1, so I'm anxious to see how skilled he is.

Thomas is a good one, but we already know what he can do.

Really? You may be right. I don't know for sure. My thoughts are different. My guess is that they will use him just like Osby. I would also guess that when he was in on his recruiting visit they showed him Osby tapes and told him that is what you can do for us.

I actually think McNease has the highest upside, but Lattin is more likely to obtain his.

McNease is longer and likely taller, while combining scary athleticism. He is just so raw, where it seems like Lattin will be more likely to be a All Big 12 type player. Could be scary if they both hit close to their ceilings and we have them down low patrolling the paint

he is already a better rebounder and on a whole different level as a shot blocker ..

Does that mean he can create offensive like Osby and hit outside shots like Osby?

The comment that I heard was that he is already a better offensive player than Osby. I'm not knocking Osby at any level. By the time he left here he was a really good player.

My only point is that there are basketball people that believe Thomas was a very good get for OU and that some may not yet have full appreciation of that fact.

that is a pretty huge statement ....

because had Ro not hurt his shoulder .. he would have played several weeks (if not months) in the NBA

If we want the program to take the next step, then he needs to be better than ro. It's not like he is an incoming freshman, he is a senior.

Since our new guys fill all the positions (PG, SG, SF, PF, C), I would like to hear about some start 5 on 5 match ups (current vs. new) this summer -- see how they stack up

Just doesn't seem like very often, one recruiting class can fill a team by itself

there is not a true 2 or 3 in the scholarship additions ..
