One of our posters, rickjames, posted this in the other thread but I thought it deserved it's own so nobody missed it.

He's #22 in white in the first game and #22 in yellow in the second game. This is a good find by rickjames:

M’Baye started in all of Wyoming’s 31 games last season averaging 12.0 points, 5.7 rebounds and 30.3 minutes per game. He shot 47.5 percent from the field (150-316), 67 percent from the free throw line (65-97) and 16 percent from 3-point range (8-49). He also blocked 22 shots.

In a non-conference game against Missouri on Nov. 23, he scored 16 points, grabbed four rebounds and blocked three shots. He also scored 13 points and grabbed six rebounds in Wyoming’s first game against UNLV, and then recorded 23 points and seven rebounds in the second game against the Runnin' Rebels. He also had averaged 9.5 points and eight rebounds in two games against BYU.

His name is pronounced A-MAUGHT, M-buy. He was born in Senegal but grew up in France before coming to America. He played his high school ball at Stoneridge Prep in California.

Also, make sure to not miss the 5:28 mark of the video.

Not to poo poo the guy, because he seems like a good get, but that is one of the more atrocious assist to turnover ratios I've seen from a starter in awhile. 0.25

Sorry if I missed it, but why is he leaving? Coaching change?

Glad to have a big body, but why is he shooting 50 3pointers a season when he doesnt have that good of a stroke. That wont happen here

Not that good of a stroke?? I must not have seen the same video. He would be instant offense on this team. Only Fitz has an equal face up game.

All I can say is wow. That video is pretty impressive. He is much more skilled than I expected. I saw the athleticism that I was sure why we recruited him, but man I really think he can do a lot of good things when he starts playing. I love that he gets to redshirt to get more situated and better, and also staggers himself away from our huge junior class. He will be a great addition to what we have going on in 2012-2013, and will be a key senior the following year.

This. Damn good get by Kruger.

The second game film is against UNLV so Kruger knows exactly what he is getting

Yeah shooting 8-49 from 3. No thanks. Ill take his mid range game, but no reason for him to sit out and launch 3's. I think Kruger will utilize him well though

What a great find. I wish he could play this year.

Probably sounds stupid becuase we need all the help inside we can get immediately, BUT given another year to improve and the way it staggers out the classes AND the prospects of the year after next [when we seemingly have 10 seniors on the roster!] and I'm okay with it.

I think next season we get back to being competitive, the year after that, we get back to being a conference contender...thereafter we just need to be consistently competitive and every now and then we will contend. I think this guy might bring some serious impact to the season after next. At that point we will know if RO is the goods and we will see where Cam is at, Fitz will still be around and so will Pledger.

One thing about the scholarship situation, just like we have had transfers in, you can bet we will have a transfer or two out. As it stands, OU has some really good opportunities for HS kids that sign this year and next, and those offers should be going out at a time where OU is on much better footing regionally and nationally.
