Anybody wanting Marquette to lose in the first round to speed up our hiring process?

If you're on the Buzz bandwagon (like I am) does him losing early in the tourney again change your opinion on him as OU's possible new coach?

If that changes anybodies mind then they are very short sighted.

I guess I'm hoping they win their first one, then lose this weekend. On Thursday, OU announces him as the next head coach.

I dont. I want them to win it all & they give him a huge contract or someone else gets him. Im not all that crazy about him for some reason. I want a "WOW" hire. He doesnt "WOW" me ! Sorry.

If he doesn't wow you, I can promise, there are no realistic options that will.

Yeah, but even for those that don't want Buzz. If OU is considering him and waiting to make a choice till they can interview him, Marquette's winning will slow down the process.

If it's not announced until after the tournament there are two possibilities:

1)the search has become a disaster, or
2)we are in on a REALLY big name

If we hire Buzz then i would like him to win an many games as possible in the tourney. Extrapolated out, say he wins the NC, then we hire him, it could only help a ton with recruiting.

Whoever the coach is I want him to lose and be out of the tourney ASAP.How many games he wins or does not win for another team is irrelevant to me.He has already been picked and no longer needs to prove himself in this scenario.All that is important to me is how fast he can get here and win games.
