I didn't get to watch the game either but I did wonder who was supposed to be guarding the Peak girl who finished with 30 points.

Aaryn started the game guarding her for the short time she was in, then Jaz took over. When neither one was in I think Sharane drew the assignment. Maddie and Morgan took the point and shooting guards the whole game. Both played well defensively, I agree that Morgan and Whitney need to take better care of the ball.

To date Nicole's performance has been the biggest surprise/biggest positive.
We heard similar reports on Kaylon that she had made major improvements. Not
seeing that duo in the post is very disappointing in light of Nicole's play.

With the lack of inside depth after Nicole, Manning's mismatch/height/length might end
up being a key starting weapon. I do recall at least one service ranking Manning in the top 40 HS kids in the country. So she did get some recruiting hype. Still, her freshman play so far indicates she might have been overlooked by some services.
