How's it going to go tomorrow? I think our frontcourt (especially if Chagrois comes back) will play well. Good depth and versatility with that group. I think it comes down to guard play:

Can Cortes get going offensively?
Does EJ provide a spark or sit the bench?
Can Noland hit some shots?
Will Goldwire be locked in?

My gut says it's going to be a tight one for 40 minutes. Similar to the Baylor game in Waco. Hope the good guys can come out on top.

They go 7’1” and 6’10” in the front court. Kessler blocks 4 shots per game and Smith might be the first pick in the draft in a few months. I don’t know how we will be able to deal with that. We have to do a much better job on the glass than we did in Waco. Auburn isn’t a great shooting team, but they beat Mizzou this week because they got so many offensive rebounds in the second half. We are at a huge disadvantage athletically, so I think our best bet is to turn it into an ugly game, keep them out of transition, and hope they get frustrated.

That sounds like the one thing we're good at. I do think Hill will be a good defensive matchup for Smith.

Having Ethan back will really help but Tanner and especially Jalen have got to stay out of foul trouble.

I don’t expect this to be a win but if we play well without an embarrassing slue of turnovers I’ll be happy.

No reason we can’t be competitive. Odds of a win are low but they aren’t zero. Turnovers and rebounds will again narrate the story.

Don’t feel good about this one. I’m afraid the turnovers will be the death of us. Auburn is beatable but they’re pretty dang good and they’re at home.

It hasn't been a good year for #1 teams to win both their games after being voted #1, so there is some pressure on Auburn. If OU plays as loose as they should, they could pull off the upset. As others have mentioned, we need the refs to not call ticky-tack fouls on T Groves...and we definitely need Chargois to play and provide solid D.

Last week I saw an OU game which there was a low-post mismatch, and it was the women vs KSU...that was brutal to watch...don't want to see Jabari Smith having a career game today.

Ugly. Low scoring. Need a little help from foul trouble.

Might as well win by 4

I hope I’m wrong but we are going to get blown out

78-53 Auburn

I see I’m not alone!

There’s a reason Auburn is the #1 ranked team in the country. They’re too good, too athletic and too big for this OU team, especially on their own floor.

As always, I’ll be cheering for the Sooners. I’m just hoping we don’t get embarrassed on national television.

The Auburn coach already said the OU defense should give their offense trouble.

Like every other game on our schedule this season, it'll come down to OU's offense. Can we take care of the ball and score it enough to have a chance? Gotta pull their big men away from the rim, and IF they collapse, kick out and knock down shots. I'm guessing T. Groves will get some open 3 pointers due to his defender wanting to rim protect. If Goldwire, Cortes, and Gibson try to drive and score at the rim, that won't be pretty. Bigger OU players need to gather, and utilize pump fakes. Again, drive and kick out. We should get open looks. Throwing it to T. Groves in the post is going to be scary. Not the game for that.

show up and play well ..

Would you expect Bruce to say his offense will kick OU’s butt? Coach speak
