Thank you in advance.

I don't know, but it's Ironic you post this because I've been thinking about BB. We spent years trying to replace him at the pg and it turns out he was the best pg we've had in a while.

Is he still in Switzerland? I know he was having success there.

I'll find out and let you know. As proof of AJ's success, here are his final stats:

A lot of us were saying that people wouldn't understand just how good AJ was until his career was over. He was a guy who wasn't great at anything, but was good at everything. That means he never stood out as great, but he was doing all the things your point guard should do and doing them well. That is really really hard to replace.

One thing that made him different was his length. He was kinda tall for a Point at 6-3 but he was even longer than that.

His wing span gave him the ability to reach into passing lanes and defends taller than his height. It was definitely an asset for him.

Well said, MN. That's high praise for a kid who played hurt for much of his career, and well deserved IMHO.

I agree with all of you. I thought Austin did a great job at OU. I have looked at everything I can find in Europe basketball and can't find anything about where he is playing nor does he show up on available players.

Not to go all Jim Traber, but I was one of the guys that felt that way and expressed it. I don't think a lot of people recognized the intangibles he brought to the court.

Austin was horrible. He was the bane of my existence during his reign of terror as OU's point guard.

He could not run an offense and he was the weakness in our starting line-up when Blake Griffin was on the team.

What the hell are you smoking?

cuz i want some of thatttt.

I seem to remember him hitting a huge NBA range three in clutch time against OSU in GIA his senior year and also that crazy jump catch shot against Baylor in Waco that also effectively won us that game too. Maybe your reality is that you are a marginal OU basketball fan to begin with and you really don't know what you are talking about?

I wouldn't take these two guys serious. If they are serious, it shows what they know about basketball.

For those who may be interested in where AJ will be playing this year, he signed a contract with a team in Tripoli, Lebanon and will fly out later today.

Lebanon is not a place I'd like to be. But he was able to get a lucrative contract there; more than the other options he had in Italy and France. He chose not to return to Switzerland because the owner of that team, who owned five Swiss banks, passed away and they're not paying nearly as much now.

That's all I know at the moment.

Thanks, Adasooner. I thought Austin had a good year in Switzerland last year, but couldn't find anything for this year.
