every time in the halfcourt. Both are good passers and seem to have good body control.

I think we'll definitely play to our strengths as a guard oriented team, but Thomas and Spangler touching the ball or rolling hard on screens seems to open up a lot fo space for our guards. When things were going well they were usually involved.

No question. Both of our bigs have skills outside of just scoring and rebounding. We can murder a zone if we will find a way to get the ball in their hands.

I think with more time they will be more involved.

I couldn't agree more, and not just when their number is called from the bench. One, or both, should at least touch the ball on every possession.

I'm thrilled OU won this game. But our guards settled for way too many threes. When Spangler and Thomas are in the lineup, there is no reason to do that now.

Kruger is a smart coach. I bet he will get that done. I think it was awfully hard to prepare for the season with the Thomas decision. If you just have Spangler, I could see why you wouldn't got through him all the time (need him to screen, want him to get offensive boards etc).

I agree. Really Thomas has only been a known starter here for a week and a half. By January I expect him to be a lot better. Kruger will adjust to use him more.

thomas isn't aggressive enough just yet. he kind of wilts out of the game. I was actually enthused with his fouling in the first half ... at least he was doing something. In that second half he had some very shiny moments. With a little more xp those will happen more and the ball will come his way more.

I liked the play late in the 2nd half when they got the ball inside to Thomas and he made a move and kicked out to Woodard for the wide open 3. I would like to see more of that kind of inside/out play.
