Battle 4 Atlantis Champs!

Now THIS is a complete clown post. So much hostility for no reason. Forsythe is not ready to play at this level yet and he will most likely not see the floor when Jones returns. Comparing upperclassmen Reeves to freshman Forsyth is not fair. Anyone with half a brain can see that.
It’s funny that moser haters are so quick to say foraythe isn’t ready to play but we’re so criticical of PM for not playing cooper last year.

Cooper just lost to southern. And plays at La tech. Let’s wish him well for Okpreps kids!

My point was that stars mean squat once a player sets foot in Norman. I think it's widely forgotten that Noland was highly ranked recruit; he's generally viewed as having been a waste of a scholarship, despite his high school hype.

Similarly, Cooper's stars mean nothing. He didn't earn playing time, that's all that matters and he took a big step down when he left OU. Forsythe has, it seems, earned a few minutes in most of our games--perhaps because of the injuries, perhaps not.
But he hustles when he's out there and he's made a handful of decent plays. Seems silly to complain about the amount of playing time he's gotten, but there's a player every season that people rag on. Perhaps he's the designated guy this season.

Stars mean nothing, huh? If so, I wonder why basically every national championship team has multiple future NBA players and highly recruited guys.

And yep, clearly Cooper didn’t earn minutes, otherwise he would have played. Certainly it wouldn’t be possible that the coaches made a mistake. But what would OU fans know about that? I mean, it’s not like we have any recent experience of our best running back having spent 9 weeks on the scout team before taking the field and immediately showing that he was clearly better than the guys who had been playing in front of him.

My goodness you are all over the place.

Again proving the point that you are so blinded by you hatred of PM

If a freshman doesn’t play it’s because PM is mismanaging him

If a freshman does play PM is an idiotic for giving a freshman minutes.

Get ahold of yourself. You look ridiculous

Yes my blind hatred for a man I’ve never met. I’m not the one who has personal feelings for people I’ve never met. I’m not the one who wants a coach to succeed or fail based on whether he is supposedly a “good guy” who is fun to have a beer with or whether he does or doesn’t have a good personality when dealing with the media.

As for individual players, my opinion is based on my eyes. Cooper’s talent was obvious to see, and he actually showed it in the Big 12 tournament when he finally got extended minutes.

I thought it went without saying that saying your hatred for PM isn't a real personal hatred lol

way to move the goal posts again.

I was on board the “cooper needs to play more” train last year. To this point he has done nothing to prove me right, though. Maybe he will figure it out and put his athleticism on display, but he doesn’t appear to be close to that point yet. In hindsight, it was reasonable to not play cooper as much last season.

Amazing that the coaching staff may actually know what they are doing.
