Someday, I hope sports fans become sensible enough to overcome this mantra that officials are never biased. It makes the game look silly when it is so obviously not true. It is a platitude, like justice is blind.

Officials are a thousand times less biased than fans are.
So, if there are ten thousand fans at Lloyd Noble, three and a third are less biased than officials?
When sports gets into the platitude phase, I always think of the Monty Python skit with the knights who keep insisting that they have won, with their arms and legs chopped off.

Lon has the guys playing hard all the time, Sherri has to get the girls playing like they did vs ISU and OK state. This could sound harsh but we don't have the type of talent where we can take plays off. our girls have to play with heart and passion for the whole game, not just tonight but all season long. That said It is a big game and I believe Sherri will have the girls ready to go tonight.

I think there are a few teams that have the talent a.k.a. Notre Dame. They gave Tennessee everything in the first half, and then they clobbered them in the second half. And to be honest, in terms of quantity, Duke and Tennessee SHOULD have enough talent to do so.
I really get annoyed watching Duke and Tennessee play sometimes. How many McDonald's All-Americans do they have one their bench? And they still don't make it to the Final Four and can't even hang with the big dogs on their home courts. Sorry just had to vent a little.

Yep, if Sims scores twice as many points as Aaryn, we're toast.
We would need a little help from Baylor and West Virginia to finish in the top two. We are 3 games behind Baylor and 2.5 behind West Virginia. Baylor is just getting into their tough Big 12 games now, with 7 of 9 of their remaining games against teams in the top half of the Big 12, so they could certainly drop. We have 5 of 9 against teams in the top half of the Big 12. However, West Virginia only has 3 of 8 of their remaining games against top half teams. And Texas actually seems to be improving and getting things together. It's just too early to tell with all of those factors at play

We get four fouls two minutes in and we can't buy a rebound. They are killing us on the boards.
