Baylor Picks Up Some Massive Recruits

What makes you like miller more than nash?

Miller doesn't seem to have an attitude problem like Nash. Nash may be more talented overall but Miller has a better attitude and engine. I just think while Miller might be a weird kid based on his tweets but I don't think he carries the attitude baggage like Nash.

Plus look at how it went down at U18 tournament, Nash was on the bench and Miller hit the game winner. Heard the rumor was Capel was not feeling Nash's attitude.

I heard Nash told self no last night so i guess we'll se at 4

The guy i heard it from will be there with him today when he announces...but i wouldnt put it past this kid to keep it from even him...

I dont want him at either school so i dont win either way :facepalm

I agree with soonersam's comments.

For what it is worth, I hear Nash has told all 3 schools what they wanted to hear in the recruiting process. I think Nash has more upside than Miller personally due to his body type. He could be a Carmelo Anthony if he wanted to. But I have seen him play a half dozen times and the only game I saw him play really hard for the entire game was against Perry Jones and Duncanville last year. He disappears for long stretches and appears that he doesn't care.

I've also seen Miller play a half dozen times and he has more of that Kevin Durant type motor/demeanor. He is just much more into the game than Nash. I think you could afford to have a Nash on your team and he is so talented that it doesn't hurt you. I just wonder how a Nash/Karron Johnson combo works out for OSU if Nash lands there. That could be a recipe for problems...

That being said, I kind of hope that Nash chooses OSU over Kansas if he is not choosing Baylor. OSU and Baylor recruited him hard and consistently. Kansas swooped in at the 11th hour and started recruiting him. Now I understand Kansas has earned that with all of their success but there is something fundamentally unfair about that... Hard work should be rewarded.

Yeah, being the great recruiter and coach he is you'd think big time programs would be lining up at the door.

Please explain to me why a guy who is signing top 10 players in the country each year and playing in the premier basketball conference in America would want to go to a "big time" program? Baylor is his baby- he's built it. He doesn't have the pressure to win that a "big time" program would have. Why screw it up?

Baylor gives him everything he needs. They will pay him what they need to pay him to make him happy. They have a new practice facility- a couple of years old. They are making major upgrades to the Ferrell Center like a $4 million state of the art scoreboard.

So you are saying if Duke, Michigan State, NC or one of the other basketball superpowers came calling, he would stay at Baylor?

Duke, Michigan State and UNC aren't hiring coaches right now.

Right after cal left memphis they looked at drew for a while and according to some posters on their boards, the administration didn't like the fact that other coaches didn't like drew.

To win big. To win conference championships. To win national championships.
And if memory serves me correct Scott Drew has never coached a game with a top 10 recruit let alone "signing top 10 players in the country each year" so please spare us the dramatics. :facepalm
I mean schools like K-State, USC, Georgia Tech & Washington have signed a couple top 10 guys in the last decade.

But you are right...if he's worried about "screwing up" he should stay at Baylor. He'd get exposed at an elite program.

He's only made 2 NCAA tournaments and last year was the first time he'd ever won a single game in the NCAA's. And talent hasn't been the issue...according to you anyways in this thread.

Quick. Someone call the NCAA on Baylor. May not know what's going on but I'll bet they can find something.

They are already investigating. You can't deport recruits because they don't commit. :woot
