Thankfully, Goodwin is a one year rental. I don't foresee the cowgirls being anywhere near as good as they have been the past couple of years after this year.
I think we all knew this would be a tough year. You would have to expect that when you lose two key pieces of your team that you would have depended on this year. It was not the coaches faults they transferred leaving us thin. However, if we can get through this season, our recruiting is improving. I think Coach Coale is looking forward to a fresh start with basically a whole new team next year.

2nd qtr was difference in the game. We went 6 min without a bucket and they went on a 16+ point run. Played even scoring in the second half, I believe. Can’t have those kind of droughts. Vivi foul trouble hurt. She didn’t play in 2nd or at least most of that qtr. heads up fans!
I'm not sure it will improve much next year. We lose several seniors and it seems likely some key players transfer (as has happened each of the past 2 years).
If I'm not mistaken, we went to the 2 minute mark in the second quarter, having scored just 4 points while giving up 16, and not a single timeout was called by our coaches.
They quit on the team, and just said "I don't care, do whatever you want". While we all watched the whole team become totally rattled and confused.
I'm not sure what it all means, but it is highly possible we lose the next 4 games (several are on the road) with Baylor and OSU being the only home games. That will leave us at something like 7 - 12 for the season.
And - like most years with Big-12 scheduling - we will go for 20 days (almost 3 weeks) in February without ever seeing our home floor.

What are you talking about transfers? Why when the tough gets going do people talk about transferring.
