Neal, Booker, and Bennett all played well. Neal and Booker hit some big shots and Bennett had 4 boards and 2 blocks.

They were huge in the first helf especially. They built the lead that we had all game.

I can't think of a game where they played better.

Neal has been excellent all year off the bench as has Booker for the most part.Bennett has been coming on of late and with Hornbeak working back into form,we hsve a solid bench. Not bad for the most underratted team in CBB.

You beat me to it.

Combined stats for Neal, Bennett, Booker and Hornbeak: 30 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 blocks. That is one heck of a performance for our back up players!

Hornbeak didn't really have that great of a game. The offense runs so much smoother with Woodard. I can't wait for him to get back to his pre injury self. He just hasn't looked comfortable since coming back.

Especially in the first half, after the TV timeout substitutions, when Lon left Tyler, Frank, and DJ in against Smart, Nash, and Murphy. Not only did they extend the lead, but their play put OSU's two best players in foul trouble. You could tell the Pokes were really hamstrung by fouls and couldn't play aggressively for the beginning of the second half. After that, they never got in rhythm -- only Forte playing unconscious and Smart going to the stripe kept 'em from losing by 20.

The bench impressed. I was afraid coming in our "lack of depth" against OSU's athleticism would be a big liability. Let me never use that phrase again.
