Not to put a damper on the honor, but they are seniors in "multidisciplinary studies," eh? I really hope that means they're double-majored and didn't just stay enrolled in the University College since their freshmen year. Perhaps they're Letters majors and pursuing law? If so, that kicks major arse.

If I recall correctly, NCAA requires majors to be declared by junior season (or RS junior year, whatever year of eligibility you're on).

Because I care so much (wink), I peeked at the roster on SS.com to see if they had a declared major there... nope.

Sooners: Don't major in University College. I once enrolled in a career guidance course and there was a nearly graduated senior there who still hadn't figured out what she wanted to do (or major in) after nearly 5 years at OU. I seriously hope she had a trust fund and not tons of student debt

Badger, you really are an idiot. It is very apparent you have never attended college and have no idea about majors or course work. Must be awful being you living a life of jealousy and negativity.

Perhaps it's because you are new here or perhaps it's in your nature to attack others as rudely as possible when you get a chance but, I suggest you read the board rules and stop being an ass.

I'd have to look up what multi-disciplinary studies really is these days.

Something like that was always a major of the campus jocks. However, it may no longer be that.

In today's world kids routinely go to school for 5 years and end up with some major in a general field of study. Hell, even when they get a degree with some real teeth to it, they still can't "find" themselves and figure out how to get their behinds to work in the real world. That's why 40 percent of people 30-40 are still living at home with their parents.

Morgan, we know, is going to be a coach someday, perhaps at OU.

Nicole, I have't a clue. Kornet is following in mommy's footsteps. I have to admit I was a bit surprised not to see Ellenberg on the list.

Only 3 out of 14 isn't that great, really. Of course, who am I to talk? If it wasn't history or journalism I barely got grades at all.

Graduated from ou in 2005. This is the first time I've seen sooner athletes listed as that major, so I was curious if it referred to something else by ou than in athletics. For example, when undeclared athletes had a listed major, it was "university studies" rather than "university college"

I am by no means calling them stupid or uneducated. I was just curious about their major, as I typically see education, communication or biochemistry majors in Sherri's program.... Ok, just one biochemistry

Thx. Once again, I'm not trying to question their education. Hell, it's my alma mater. I just don't recall any other Sherri athletes... Or any others from ou really, that had that listed major.

Badger, I never heard of that as a minor either until a couple if years ago when a girl I know graduated from OBU with that major.
