bears post is doing well. I just don't get how some of these teams go against the 1-3-1...you need 2 post baseline...instead the horns post 1 guy up on gathers..and put the other post in the corner..taking any advantage away, but what do I know.

Baylor is a very strange team....they are bi-polar. And their length really bothered Texas today (texas is relatively small outside of Ibeh). Not to mention that Texas has been the best in the conference at taking care of the ball....and they didn't do that today either.

I'm not praising texas, but it's easy to see how they have markedly improved since the start of the season and the game in Austin next saturday will be a booger.

According to some on here that qualifies Smart as a below average coach and texas is toast.

Precisely.. Except it's his first year instead of a starting lineup that features 4 starters that have started 90 Games together..

Did anyone watch the end of the ku kstate game?

It was a 4 point game with about a minute left and kstate inbounded the ball to one of their bigs who had the ball knocked out of his hands. Obviously it should have been kstate ball but of course they reviewed it and gave the ball to ku. Kstate was forced to foul then and the game was over at that point. Smdh...

It could be argued texas is just as experienced as we are. Regardless, I'm being facetious. I just think it's funny to see the tone of posts change. People with questionable knowledge of the game, this coaching staff, and this team going from dumping on this team to praising them. Sometimes it's best to post after a good nights sleep rather than risk the chance of looking foolish when your emotional posts get proven to be off base.

got no idea if you are referring to me...I think Texas is a good team. I still believe they will give OU a game.

I said the same thing about (I can't remember who...ISU maybe) another team that ran a crappy offense against BU's 1-3-1. OU actually ran it better for a few times in Waco. Like any zone def...the off needs to off-set.

BU's post did well today.

thought is was in ref to texas still being a good team (even though bu hammered them) that will be a tough game. as will be baylor.

both games will be toss ups. Depends on which teams show up..both sides.
