Big 12 talk (other teams games )

Ok, so you live in fantasy land. As long as the coaches don’t “cheat” as far as you know, then you’re ok with it. As long as you aren’t aware of what’s really happening behind the scenes, then you’re ok with it.

And you're seemingly living in a different fantasy land, one where everyone cheats, so it's ok. All bets are off, do whatever it takes.

If KU wins today and Tuesday, they may have the league locked up by Valentine’s Day. Would sure be nice to see them lose at least one of these, but they don’t lose at home and KSU can rarely beat them anywhere.

TCU just hammering K-State. TCU also should've won at Texas the other night. I was probably overlooking them, but they are more than solid.

Well, I think everyone else is playing for second at this point. KU has been on the ropes four times and has won all four. Self is now 120-51 in games decided by five or fewer. What an unreal stat. He always puts his team in great positions at the end of those games, and the opponent almost always ends up taking a terrible shot. I can’t stand them but you have to respect what they do in those situations.

I do care about winning. I also care about doing it the right way. Lon Kruger didn't cheat and he made it to Final Fours. Bob Stoops didn't cheat and he made it to national title games, one of which he won and two of which we could easily have won with a play or two going differently. And the team that routed us in the fourth title game? They cheated and had to vacate that win.

This!! :clap

They are definitely the big favorites but I’m not quite ready to hand them the championship yet. However, if they win at KSU this week I think they have probably clinched the Big 12 (at least tied) barring injuries.

The last 10 minutes of the Purdue/Mich. St. game have been fantastic. So many clutch shots by both teams. Purdue obviously has a huge advantage with Edey, but their guard made a phenomenal entry pass on the last possession to set up the winning basket. Both teams really did a great job playing to their advantages. That was a fun game.

KSt got off to a good start but I love how KU keeps moving the ball and attacking every possession. Doing so gets them a lot of easy shots and FTs. Now they only trail by 5 at half after trailing by 14 earlier.

KSt needs Johnson in there in second half. When he sat their offense was not as good.

All good points. No shock KU kept their poise when KSU built the big lead and seemingly couldn’t miss. But it really is amazing how quickly KSU has gotten this good. They definitely don’t subscribe to the “it’s unfair to expect anything in year one” theory. Will be a fun second half.

KU always gets the favorable calls. Home or road in the Big12, KU is still given preferential treatment by the refs.

Really surprised to see KU try to make a hero on the road out of a guy (Clemence) who rarely plays. That kid made big outside shots against us in Lawrence the last 2 years but not sure if you want to be feeding him low on the road.

Nowell missed the wide open 3 that would have been the dagger. You can’t miss those against KU but KSt survived it enough to make it to OT.

KU would’ve lost this game, and a few others, if the officiating was equitable and fair, but that’s too much to ask.

Lol I don’t even have to read user names anymore to know your posts

And I don’t have to check your posts to know that you can’t refute my points so you just make it personal.

Also, KU has had their best post, best defender, and best shooter all foul out tonight. But yeah, don’t give them any credit if they win and just say it was officiating. And don’t acknowledge that KSU is really good two months into Tang’s career.

Let’s see if KSU can win so we can all at least humor ourselves into thinking there will be a race for the conference title.

Your stchick is old. You can’t make a post without getting a passive agressice dig in on OU/moser.

Let it go. We all know where you stand

Self takes a timeout that negates the Wilson 3. I love it.

KSt still has a chance now.
