Big 12 Tournament Bracket Generator

wow, got OU only losing at WV...nice. That would be awesome...but I think we actually might win that but lose at UT.

We really need to beat Kansas next week. If not, their schedule lines up for another run at the conference.

other than winning the regular season, I'd like to see Iowa St on the opposite side of the bracket (with KU). Hate trying to match up with Niang.

Those aren't my picks, they were the default. I'm not sure how the creator of the website made them.

I hope OU gets an amazing crowd for that game.

I think it will be the best in over a decade. Assuming both teams take care of business in the interim, I think that has a chance to be the first true top 5 vs. top 5 matchup at the LNC in since Texas and TJ Ford in 2003. Hopefully the result will be a lot better.

I left all the games at default except that OU loses at Texas. And... that one change makes Kansas win the conference on a three-way tiebreaker with West Virginia and OU.

It's OU's race to lose, but the margin is very small.

The defaults are by sagarin. I made a few changes to give home teams wins in close matchup. I get OU 14-4, Texas 13-5, ku wv is u Baylor all at 12-6. That win by Texas last night was gigantic. I feel with their Morgantown win and in Waco, they're the team we're contending with.

I think OU wins the conference outright if we can beat Kansas at home. I see them dropping a couple more this season, they are not a special team this year.

While I agree the margin is just as thin if not thinner for the other teams.

I will say, I don't see WVU as a real contender. Five of their six wins so far were against the bottom 4 teams in the conference. They still have to travel to Ames, Lawrence, Austin and Waco and have home games vs. OU, ISU and Baylor. That's absolutely brutal, and given the way they've looked recently, I don't see any way they get through that with any fewer than 4 more losses.

Those were both high quality wins for Texas and you may be right, they could very well be a serious contender. But I want to see them continue this high level of play for a few more games. I think it's fair to say they've improved, but we all have the tendency to have "recency bias". I want to see how they handle Saturday against Tech (who beat them earlier)....which is right before the Big Monday game against us next week. The game against Tech will be a classic trap game or flat spot for them.

Exactly. I'm impressed by Texas' improvement, but they have the feel of a young team that will get some big wins, but will offset it by losing some games they "shouldn't" (see e.g. @ Tech and TCU). Actually reminds me a little of OU the last few seasons.

If Texas splits @OU and @ISU they'll enter the race. Right now it's between OU and Kansas.

The way that KU has played away from AFH (getting beat convincingly 3 times), I think the race is between OU and ISU. KU still has to go Austin, Waco, Manhattan, and Norman. At best, I think they split those, but they could also lose all 4 of those games. This isn't the same KU team this year that we are used to.

Ku won't lose at ksu...now I can see them dropping the other 3

I'm mix on the horns. They have talent...but I don't think wv is all that...and they beat bu but not by much.

It's one of those games...OU should win in paper...but who knows
