The Woodlands? We're neighbors. I live in Woodforest just 5 miles north of the Woodlands. Enjoy the trip.

Yep. Only 27 holes, but it was voted the #1 public course in Texas one year, although they have memberships. Beautiful course. Steve Elkington originally designed it. The course was like an oasis in the middle of the forest when it was called Fish Creek. I can't believe how much the area has grown since then. We downsized and moved here 2.5 years ago.

There is one member who lives in College Station that flies his helicopter in 3-4 times a week to play the course. Always parks it in the same spot by the road.
