We'll probably need Virginia or Michigan state to lose convincingly in their conference tournaments to get the 1 seed, but I'm not concerned with a 1 seed as long as we're placed in OKC as a 2. I'm not sure of the minutes break-down tonight, but it seemed Lon trusted the bench more, particularly in the first half(great contribution from Walker). Buddy had a great night, but across the board I saw some positives from each of the starters that could possibly break them out of their funks woodard(on defense) & lattin in particular.

I think we win convincingly against WVU if the bench can continue not to be a catastrophe. The starters, outside of Buddy, are due for a big game and they showed flashes in this game. KU doesn't scare me and I don't think they are a lock against Baylor. Loved the defensive intensity, Niang just happened to be Niang. Believe!

Yeah, I feel the WVU matchup is a good one for us and I think this win gives the team some momentum. I would definitely like another chance vs Kansas. I believe!

If we beat West Virginia tomorrow I think we have an excellent shot at a 1 seed no matter what else happens.

KU seems to be the only lock over us from an analytics POV, but the selection committee seems to take a 'what have you done for me lately" approach to seeding. If we beat WVU we're in great shape, I don't see the ACC getting 2 # 1 seeds and I would'nt bet on Villanova winning the big east, if MSU loses then that might just guarantee our 1 seed. win or lose vs WVU, tonight was huge!

Yup. Need wvu 3x to really get back into 1 seed talk.. then i think a sexy loss to KU gets it. Or maybe we uncharacteristically beat them. I prefer that

If we win the Tourney I believe we would be a lock for No1 seed. We would have beaten the No 21, 9, and if Kansas gets their the No1 team in the country in the toughest conference in the country.
