not a slam on Cade at all bc I think the kid is GREAT and love having him on the team...but I also don't classify him as a starter.

He may be a starter by circumstance, but in the overall scheme that would seem to be a filler role.

...and I love listening to RMK during games even if I can't stand him.

I pass on plenty of chances. Worst OU team in nearly 3 decades. There should be alot of negativity on here. I just find it humerous that some of the same posters that get bent out of shape when we lose an NCAA game we shouldn't, want to give Capel a free pass on this season. That doesn't make sense to me.

My statement above was sort of a joke. It's not like it isn't true though. And it isn't a "dog" on Cade. YOU are trying to stir stuff up by calling it that. I simply pointed out that with a normal, healthy roster, Davis is coming off the bench. I've also said in the past that we'd be a better team if Cade wasn't asked to do so much. If you don't get that, you don't understand the sport.

His point was that Cade Davis is a starter on our team and has been one for the bulk of our games this year, and that this is a fact that the commentator for an in-conference game should know.

No more, no less.

you can be critical without being negative. And who is giving Capel a free pass? I'm not the one stirring stuff up by posting my opinion of bob knight. You are the one stirring crap up by hijacking threads and changing people's posts around.

Isn't this kinda common sense? IMO though we aren't asking him to do too much. It appears we are asking him to play defense, hustle, and spot up. I don't see how he is doing too much (besides the obvious of him having to play 35+ minutes)
