Bold Predictions of the Big 12

soonersam will be MVP of intramural basketball
Tony will drink hella beer at Oktoberfest
I will also drink hella beer at Oktoberfest
OU's basketball team will do stuff and things
Capel will still be the coach after this season.

OU will win 2 games at the Big XII tourney and get one of the last at-large bids into the NCAA tourney...

Cameron Clark will be named newcomer of the year...

Colorado will make a major move this season, finishing 4th in the conference standings and making the dance...

My problem is it's looking like the only night I can make it is Saturday. Is it worth missing the OU/Mizzou game or watching it there?

Do not forget about the culmination of Brocktoberfest (UFC121), as well.

I think it's bold because of Selby at Kansas, seems that most have already handed him the award...

I understand your viewpoint.

Speaking of Clark, Dave Telep said he's heard very good things thus far and that he's definitely one to keep an eye on in the Big 12.

Pretty sure we should make sure Shelby is eligible to play this season before we hand him the award... But until Shelby is declared eligible, it's a solid choice of Clark for Freshman POY.

Mizzou wins more conference games (regular season and tournament) than OU wins games.

OU won 13 games last year. MU went 10-6 in the Big 12 and was upset by Nebraska in the Big 12 tournament. I expect MU to be a few games better, and I don't think OU improves much.

I never said he's a lock, just said that if Shelby is not cleared to play then Cam is more in the running than with Shelby playing. I can see Jones, or Thompson, or Joesph, or Clark winning, without Shelby the race is wide open.
