Bold Predictions of the Big 12

I quoted people's posts and added in bold the commentary on the predictions.

- Missouri will not make the dance this year Wrong
- OU will beat Kansas in the LNC Wrong and I'm laughing
- Keiton Page will be OSU's leading scorer Close but wrongm Moses averaged 1 more point

- Baylor will lose again at the LNC We have a Winner Johnny!
The rest, not so much
- #****mytylernealsays will be a trending topic on twitter
- The LNC will be rocking versus like it did back in the day of Billy Ball
- Bill Self's toupee will fall off at some point this season

I'll try my hand at a few of these...

- With the cloud of Dunn's legal troubles (regardless of whether or not he remains suspended) and the NCAA investigations hanging over the program, Baylor will not make the tournament. Great Call

The rest, umm. Yeah you're not Nostradamus
- We will beat both Texass and Okie Light at the LNC.
- Kansas will be ranked in the top 3 when they come to the LNC on February 26th, and we will still be in the hunt for an NCAA bid, which will result in a great atmosphere.
- We will make it to the finals of the Maui Invitational, pulling off big upsets of Kentucky & Washington. Hey...stranger things have happened in that tournament, you never know who will be ready to play in that vacation-like setting early in the season.
- Colorado will make the big dance.
- We will make it to the semifinals of the NIT, setting the stage for what should be a fun 2011-12 season.

-Mizzou will finish top 4 in the Big 12 They finished 6th
-Texas Tech will go to the NCAA Tournament Lol
-Nick Thompson will block more than 4 shots this year Umm, he blocked zero, dang
-A&M will finally have a down year They grabbed the 3rd spot in the conference, I dont think thats down

Nope
we will win 21 games in the regular season, 8 - 8 in conference, win 2 in the conference tourney, for a total of 23 wins and we make the dance

None of these came true

Andrew Fitzgerald will lead the Sooners in scoring.
OU will win 2 games in the Maui, beating Virginia and Wichita State.
Kansas will lose in the 2nd round of the NCAA tourney.
Kentucky will lose in the 2nd round of the NCAA tourney.

My bold prediction:
OU wins the Big XII Tourney and gets an automatic birth into the dance.

Tyler Neal will hit a clutch three in a big game I dont think this happened, did it?
Pledger will have a 30 point game this year He scored 38, not 30 buddy, wrong

The rest, nope
We will win one of Texas/OSU on the road
OU will finish in the top 8
We will beat Kansas at the LNC

Abdul Ahmed gets real playing time this year.

Calvin Newell scores at least 25 in one game

Matt Pilgrim at the very least is suspended at some point this season.

Texas doesn't win double digit games in conference.

Doc Sadler gives us a going away gift by beating KU in Lincoln.

OU will win 2 games at the Big XII tourney and get one of the last at-large bids into the NCAA tourney...

Cameron Clark will be named newcomer of the year...

Colorado will make a major move this season, finishing 4th in the conference standings and making the dance...

Couple more.

Mizzou wins more conference games (regular season and tournament) than OU wins games. It was silly when you made the prediction and its still silly

Tony Mitchell will have more blocks this season for Mizzou than Nick Thompson will for OU. We have a push, which is quite sad since only one them played this year

Couple of others that I have:

- osu will not make the dance yet Colorado will True Statement
- Baylor will sweep Texas Texas swept Baylor
- a&m wins one NCAA game and then loses in the second round (I know. Not bold). A&M actually lost in the first round for once

they had a pretty good argument to make it. more than USC. they are a last second 3 pointer by ATM from making it easily, imo.

I agree Colordao deserved to make it, but they didn't. I was just pointing that out.

Wait, I thought we were going for bold predictions here?

Given their team next year I don't think it's that bold. Saying KU will win the conference is more bold than them losing in the second round. I would say it's probably expected.

Tech- will finish no worse than 6th.
Ok State- Nash will be a selfish player and not lead OSU to anything
Kansas- will not make it 8 straight.
