Bold Predictions of the Big 12

Sawyer you sure to seem to get defensive on here quite a bit.

You do realize that when you come here this isn't a Mizzou board?

People here most likely aren't going to have as high view on Mizzou as they will on various Mizzou boards. So that when people aren't convinced Mike Anderson isn't John Wooden or that Tony Mitchell won't be magically eligible in the second semester you should understand that we're OU fans and homer for our own team and not Mizzou.

If I came to a Mizzou board I would expect OU to be picked on because that is just the nature of things. Or do you think Mizzou is that good and that important (with their what 1 Big 12 title ever?) that everybody should be giving it up to them ?

Sawyer's change seems rather recent. He is usually one of the more level-headed non-OU fans. I'm not sure what flipped his switch. Maybe he just really hates Nick Thompson.

OU won 13 games last year. MU went 10-6 in the Big 12 and was upset by Nebraska in the Big 12 tournament. I expect MU to be a few games better, and I don't think OU improves much.

Yes.

Good luck keeping it within 20 this year in Columbia.

Honestly, do you think Mizzou is fielding the UNLV teams of the early 90's or something? Simply put, your feeling of Missouri's entitlement is comical.

If it was--you know--actually a great team returning I would think that would be plausible, but to say a 10-6 team that had losses to OU (ironically, given the situation) and Nebraska will do so is hilarious.

Mizzou's made improvements, but so has OU (additions, as well as additions by subtractions). I'm not saying OU's going to win the NCAA title, but Mizzou's improvements as opposed to OU's aren't that much greater to the extent that you're insinuating. But keep the beyond-brazen remarks coming, they're providing some quality entertainment.

His hate of Nick Thompson reminds me more of a certain CU fan than a Mizzou fan.

Or that Mizzou people are just talking more trash than usual because of some other sporting event being played this weekend. (I've been getting crude from all my friends at MU this weekend too, must be something in the water.)

Mizzou not only loses every game, they do not have one possession that does not result in a turnover.

Mizzou will decide to cancel basketball season this year after losing another demoralizing game to the Sooners in football, 20 of the last 21...the depression is just going to be too much to take, giving up on all other sports is the answer...

specially since they cant live up to the feats of their rival in basketball, Kansas...they are to Kansas what OSU is to us in Football...collegiate sports is not the answer at Mizzou...

But its Ok because the Big 10 wants them... oh wait thats right snubbed after declaring they wanted out of the big 12

It's a bold prediction thread. I'm a Mizzou fan on an OU board. I'm not going to make predictions that don't involve MU and OU. What kinds of predictions would you expect? I boldly predicted that Mizzou would be a few games better than most think and OU would be a few games worse. Not really a huge stretch.

None of my posts come from a defensive position, and I don't hate Nick Thompson.

Sawyer brings so much negative energy to this board, geez.

I prefer to have happier things in my life, such as the daily entertainment known as Tyler Neal's twitter account. It's much more fun than trolling on an opponent's message board.

Couple of others that I have:

- osu will not make the dance yet Colorado will
- Baylor will sweep Texas
- a&m wins one NCAA game and then loses in the second round (I know. Not bold).
