This seems like an odd "problem" to argue about. Or is it just me?

How does his game compare to Longar? Longar became a pretty good player but it took some time to develop him.

Personally, I do not agree with this. Longar put up big numbers every single time he got minutes. He just happened to play behind Taj Gray and Kevin Bookout. It didn't make sense to sit those guys for an inexperienced Longar Longar even thought Longar did fine the few times he was asked to play significant minutes.

It is good to see past and future OU grads in Norman; part of the family atmosphere surrounding the OU program.

I wonder what Longer is up to these days. Does he live in Norman?

Someone told me the other day he still plays ball overseas. I assume he lives in Norman during the offseason. Not every day. But, I see him frequently coming and going from the LNC.

He seems to have free access to the gym and training facilities. He is carrying a gym bag and is in his workout clothes. I just assume that he is getting his workouts in at times that don't conflict the team's scheduled activities.

He seems like a really nice guy and is very approachable. I've seen a lot of OU fans spot him, go up, and engage him.

Longar was always a really nice guy that was very approachable. I experienced that firsthand at Tip In Club dinners back when Longar was playing at OU.

Personally, I do not agree with this. Longar put up big numbers every single time he got minutes. He just happened to play behind Taj Gray and Kevin Bookout. It didn't make sense to sit those guys for an inexperienced Longar Longar even thought Longar did fine the few times he was asked to play significant minutes.

I didn't word it very good but the fact remains he really didn't have an impact until his 3rd year on campus. He showed signs early but Kelvin would pull him every time he dropped a picture perfect pass in the post which was usually his first trip down the court.

With his height, he should have made an impact at least by his 2nd year and been a good spot player his frosh year. JMO.

I don't remember but why wasn't Longar redshirted his FR year? Did it have something to do with going to prep school? If I remember correctly, his FR year at OU was basically wasted. Would've loved to have seen his SR season be on that elite 8 team in Blake's SO year!
