Best 2 weeks of the year for college basketball coming up. Bubble watch is in full swing with the conference tournaments getting underway. Here is the CBS RPI link, conference standings link and Lundari's bracketology link

Lunardi's last 4 in are: Notre Dame, Connecticut, Rhode Island & San Diego State.

His last 8 out are: Memphis, UAB, Dayton, Arizona State, Mississippi St, Ole Miss, Washington & Seton Hall.

I don't see the Big East getting 9 teams. UConn will be out. Rhode Island is 9-7 in the A-10 and lost to Umass yesterday. They are out too IMO.

That only leaves 2 spots. Right now I would guess Arizona State and Memphis.

The Big XII doesn't have any bubble teams, Missouri has the worst RPI but I can't believe 10-6 does not get them in. If we could have closed the deal Monday Texas would be 8-8 and squarely on the bubble. Most overrated #1 of alltime.

UNI spanked Wichita State which keeps the shockers from taking a spot.

Rhode Island is on life support, so is UCONN.

Missouri is safely in the tourney...all the Big XII teams in contention are (7 total).

Lunardi has Illinois in. After losing today they have lost 5 of 6 and have an RPI of 73 and falling. That should open up another spot.
