Looking likely. We are better than and are playing better than the last 8 teams in the field though. Been the first team out now 3 times in Moser’s tenure? Got to be a conspiracy lolYea.
My gut is that we are out. I think that Dayton win pushes us out unfortunately.
I bet we are First One Out.
Again unless the committee watches the last few weeks.
We beat 4 bubble teams ahead of us: auburn, Texas, Texas atm, and Missouri.
And we are running it back... Sigh

But you’re one of the smartest posters on the board, so you know that yes, the committee watched the last month, but they don’t assign it any more or less weight than any other part of the season. We played better than those teams for a month, but unfortunately, they played better than us for the better part of three months. I’ve always felt the golf analogy is the best one. Your final score is your final score, no matter how you get there. If we end up missing out by a tiny margin, I think that instead of focusing on any perceived injustice, our coach and new AD need to finally do some hard examination and realize they can’t treat Nov and Dec like it’s time to just play a bunch of glorified scrimmages. Playing in the SEC gives you a lot of opportunities for big wins, sure, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t control your noncon schedule much better than we have. It’s so annoying that Moser does this, because the NCAA gives you the keys to the test. Everyone knows exactly what factors they consider, but Moser, year after year, continues doing what they don’t want power conference teams to do.Yea.

I prefer the old way where they weighted how you played late a little more. But, yes. that is not the way any longer and everyone knows it (maybe not Porter). I really don’t know which way is better anyway. I’ve seen teams who are hot play like crap in Round 1 and teams who are cold get hot again. And the opposite is also true. Bottom line, we screwed up and are likely to pay the price for it. If you schedule poorly and lose 9 games in a row you need to do something spectacular later. We played good lately but nothing that the committee will see as spectacular to cause their human side to override the metrics. Sad state of Sooner basketball. The NIT might be filled with enough dogs, we might win it unless we play Popcorn State on the road.
Sometimes fans have to sacrifice to prove a point. We could have Gottlieb as coach and I will go to every game. I am a glutton for punishment.

Bottom line. Every citizen has the right to spend money the way they choose, assuming they aren’t doing something illegal with it. Every business needs to understand that.Sometimes fans have to sacrifice to prove a point.
If we keep going to games we are actively saying that the way ou hoops is treated is ok
Let me know if you find a way to email Denny directly. I couldn't find an email listed. If we are out again, I'll be sending an email to the new AD saying I won't be attending any bball games again next year due to Moser being back after missing the tournament in 5 of 6 years. Just unacceptable

If your bad enough to abandon the basketball program, then you should waste the administration also fired and the primary donors banded from the program.
Coaching is just a small part of it.
Lemme guess…you’ve attended a “no kings” protest.Sometimes fans have to sacrifice to prove a point.

You think Dayton is a lock now? VCU is currently kicking their ass, so I don’t see how them winning last night impacts OU.Yea.
